A run-down flower store is on the verge of going out of business. When the customers fail to show up, Mr. Mushnik decides to close his store for good. But his two employees, Seymour and Audrey, who are unknowingly in love with each other, know what to do: a bizarre, talking plant that Seymour bought from a Chinese man is supposed to save the store from ruin. With success! The dainty plant becomes the town's attraction. In order for it to grow and thrive, however, Seymour has to feed it with blood. It comes as it must: Like her, her appetite grows bigger and bigger, and the story soon takes a murderous turn.

In a rousing, fast-paced and darkly humorous way, DAS DA THEATER brings the quirky cult musical "The Little Shop of Horrors" to the open-air stage at Burg Wilhelmstein for the first time. First performed in New York in 1982 as "Little Shop of Horrors", the film adaptation starring Rick Moranis, Steve Martin, Bill Murray and John Candy became a worldwide success in 1986. Look forward to a different kind of musical with hits such as "Grow for Me", "Somewhere That's Green" and "Suppertime". The powerful DAS DA ensemble will be accompanied by their four-piece live band - and a two-meter tall horror plant.
